I look after customers in the store, book meetings with them to discuss designs and colour choices, prepare designs, write offers and place orders. I visit customers at home, take measurements and dimensions before I place a work order with the joiner. I am also in contact with suppliers and am responsible for samples and all day-to-day aspects of the store.

What made you decide to join Nobia?

I thought that the position of kitchen salesperson would suit me since it involves a great deal of interior decorating and design which are passions of mine.

Please describe your career path within Nobia.

I have worked at HTH kitchen forum in Malmö for almost eight years and been employed as a sales person for that entire time. I have developed and learnt much over these years.

What kinds of skills or experience are valuable to have in your role?

The ability to listen to what the customer wants, envisage what can be done as early as at the design stage, to deal with people. But above all, have a positive attitude and see opportunities rather than problems. You gain new experiences all the time as a salesperson, which is of immense value.

What are you working on right now?

At the moment we have a campaign with a deadline so we have a huge amount to do and customers are pouring in. I am now working with many customers all at the same time.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

Creating something, seeing how everything grows from the first meeting with customers, and being professional in my job. A satisfied customer generates more sales.

How would you describe the business culture in a few words?

Working hard and always focusing on customer needs.

What types of future challenges and opportunities do you foresee in your areas?

New challenges emerge every day, each customer is unique and no solution is a foregone conclusion. In terms of my career, I see many opportunities for continuing to develop at HTH.
