Henrik, Assembly manager
My job involves leading and managing the assembly department and ensuring that the fitters are well-trained and work well in their daily duties.
What made you decide to join Nobia?
I decided to accept my job at HTH Køkkenforum due to my interest in interior design and good cabinetmaking skills. I discovered my interest in this part of the building sector through my other jobs.
Please describe your career path within Nobia.
I began as a fitter at HTH Holstebro in 2002. In 2009, I became the assembly manager, first at HTH Holstebro and then at HTH Herning and Skive.
What kinds of skills or experience are valuable to have in your role?
There are many skills that are valuable to my job, for example, having an overall view, relevant experience, precision, reliability and credibility. It is also important to involve yourself and motivate your colleagues so that they retain the passion in their daily work duties and all the positive effects that that brings.
What are you working on right now?
Compiling and co-ordinating the assembly calendar so that the fitters’ time is used as efficiently as possible. We also work with different methods to enhance the efficiency of our assembly work processes.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
Customer contact and working together with my colleges, participating in the planning of daily work activities. I am motivated by satisfying the needs of customers and my colleagues.
How would you describe the business culture in a few words?
Major focus on customer satisfaction and navigating a difficult market dominated by fierce competition and high customer expectations.
What types of future challenges and opportunities do you foresee in your areas?
The greatest challenge is to cover our district to a far greater extent and decrease the use of external fitters. This will enable us to ensure that our products are delivered to the customer in the manner that we want.
