Uncompromising new design by uno form
Published 26 June 2007
Danish uno form introduces its new "a+" kitchen in a concept called International kitchen couture. The concept is based on genuine Danish craftsmanship and is a new design experience for both gourmets and individualists.
The design team at uno form has united an international and urban style with the best materials for those who dare challenge tradition. The kitchen elements in a+ are constructed on aluminium frames, hence the "a" in the name. Aluminium frames in the door fronts enable the use of various exclusive materials for the door surfaces, thereby giving the cabinets that extra little "plus."
Leather door fronts
The glamour of the fashion world has served as an inspiration for introducing leather in the kitchen. The exclusive natural leather used in a+ is available in black, brown or cognac and is elegantly balanced by the aluminum frame. The leather is also surface-treated, making it both durable and easy to clean.
Cool retro with linoleum
If you do not fancy leather in the kitchen, you can select among other materials, such as linoleum, for the drawer and cupboard fronts. This natural product is undergoing a renaissance in modern homes thanks to its soft, warm and inviting surface, while being both durable and easy to maintain.
Minimalism with colour and warmth
The a+ series also offers a wide range of beautiful wood veneers and colourful laminates, warming up the minimalist tone so prevalent in recent years. The dark wood contributes to an exclusive and personal kitchen environment with complete disregard for the white-on-white trend. Combined with linoleum, leather or laminates available in a multitude of colours and surfaces, a+ offers something that's both unique and unexpected.
a+ will be available in uno form's own showroom network in Denmark starting in October. Sweden and Norway will follow suit in January 2008.
