Culinoma opens triple kitchen emporium in Cologne

Culinoma GmbH, the retail joint venture between Nobia in Sweden and DMG in the Netherlands, opened the doors of its KüchenCenter Köln on 16 March at the new IKEA Home Park in Cologne.

The 4,300 square-meter space is the home of three separate retail operations under one roof: Marquardt, specialising in high-quality granite kitchens at factory prices; Vesta, presenting various lifestyle concepts; and Plana, for the discerning customer who demands a high service level.

This type of store is unique, both for Culinoma and for Germany, in that it is the first to offer one-stop shopping for the customer with three distinct concepts catering to different tastes and different budget levels.

For Culinoma, the location of KüchenCenter Köln is an advantage, due to the pull-effect of IKEA, the concentration of home-related stores in one retail park, as well as the easy access from the autobahn and ample parking.
