Hygena opens high-street store in Barcelona

In July, Hygena opened the doors of its second store on the Iberian peninsula. The 250 square-metre showroom is located on Gran Via, a main shopping street in the heart of Barcelona.

“The showroom is in an excellent location,” says Daniel Souissi, the business unit manager of Hygena. “Our high-street stores in Paris have been successful and we hope that this will help make the Hygena brand known in the Spanish market.” The grand opening was attended by journalists from the interior decorating and industry press, as well as the general public.

Due to local demand for stone worktops, Hygena decided to collaborate with a Spanish retailer of silestone products. “This gives an elegant look and feel to our kitchens and we are even considering the assortment for the French market.”

Earlier this spring, the first Hygena store in Spain was opened in a retail park in Girona, near Barcelona. A third store is planned for Saragossa during the autumn.
