Poggenpohl opens Design Center in Milan

While Europe’s largest kitchen exhibition, “Eurocucina international kitchen exhibition”, was on, Poggenpohl opened a new design center in Milan. The studio was officially unveiled in the presence of customers, designers and architects.
“We are delighted that the Poggenpohl is now represented with a flagship store in one of Milan’s top locations. It’s not just a retail studio, but also a world-wide testing ground for innovations”, says Poggenpohl’s Managing Director Lars Völkel.
In the over two storeys 350 square metres show room, six exclusive show kitchens are displayed. Through a new type of touch-screen configurator, customers can, for instance, see what the familiar +ARTESIO® and PLUSMODO® kitchen concepts look like with different fronts or worktops.
In the basement, Poggenpohl presents the pioneering design the company has developed during its 120 years long history, which has been characterized by quality, innovation and non-conformism. Poggenpohl has during the years received a number of design prices. Poggenpohl was founded by Friedemir Poggenpohl 1892 and is the world’s oldest kitchen brand.
