Poggenpohl wins red dot award

Poggenpohl has won the coveted "Best of the best" red dot award for their new kitchen concept +ARTESIO.

The 'red dot award' is an international award that honours trendsetters and design brilliance. With no fewer than 4,433 entries submitted by over 1,700 companies from 60 countries. Only 1.3% of all submissions made it through to win the "Best of the best" accolade. Among these is Poggenpohl's new kitchen concept, +ARTESIO®.

 

"This award is confirmation of Poggenpohl's high innovative capacity and design quality", comments a delighted Elmar Duffner, managing director at Poggenpohl.

 

In addition to receiving the red dot award, +ARTESIO® has also won the international 'iF Award' for excellent product design and the 'Good Design Award' from The Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design.

 

+ARTESIO® was first introduced to the world at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2010. The unique symbiosis of architecture and kitchen design also captivated the audience at Cologne's "Living Kitchen" International Kitchen Show in January of this year. +ARTESIO® is now being launched world-wide.

 

The 'red dot design award' is an internationally recognised seal of quality for design excellence and is highly regarded in expert circles. The competition is divided into the three categories – Product Design, Communication Design and Design Concept.
