Marbodal – winner of Kitchen of the Year 2013

The Kitchen of the Year was chosen by a selection panel together with thousands of private individuals. The panel's verdict was as follows:

"In Arkitekt Plus, Marbodal has created a new way of thinking about kitchens, with a design that is both appealing and suitable for many people in terms of appearance as well as budget. It's a kitchen to live in and to live with for many years. The details and the carpentry give the feeling of a real high-quality, custom-built kitchen. There is a focus on quality and finish, and the kitchen has an exclusive appearance."

"The design of the PLUS series is inspired by history, by custom-built kitchens where doors and drawers sit level with the framework and everything holds together as a single entity. It's like a beautiful piece of furniture", says Axel Karlsson, Marketing Director at Marbodal, adding: "In only a short space of time, our new PLUS series has become incredibly popular with our customers. Marbodal will be 90 years old in 2014, so this award is a perfect start to our anniversary year."

The winning kitchen was designed by Catarina Thollström, kitchen designer at Nobia.
